Put a blank piece of paper in front of a small business owner and tell him you need a sales letter and watch him break into a sweat! He'd much rather be dredging sewers because it isn't nearly as uncomfortable.

And that's why most of us never reach our true sales potential. Even though I am about as close to a professional writer as you can imagine - producing thousands of words each week - the moment I have to start writing about my own firm, I find the most amazing range of other, non-essential tasks that suddenly need my attention.

The problem is the blank page. Once you have a structure it's easy to see what can be improved. And if you have a guiding hand building that with you - you'll get it right first time. Without that, an A4 piece of paper becomes your worst nightmare. I know that because it's mine as well.

It doesn't have to be that way. One of the best solutions I have seen is from a fellow called Yanik Silver. He's one of the original Internet sales gurus, and his Instant Sales Letters is a superb way to break writers block and produce quality sales letters in just minutes - even if you can barely hold a pen.

And the price! Eish! Your investment will equal about 1/50th of the cost of a decent copywriter for just one letter, yet will give you access to a constant stream of inspiration and ready made letters for the rest of your career!

These are letters you can use on paper, in emails, and on your website. I use them because it's cheaper and faster than doing it myself, and I probably produce more letters each day than most of us.
