My Business Journey Started With a Crisis

In 1992, I closed a $30 million business after a national financial crisis swept through my country. Overnight, everything I had built was gone. The experience was devastating—but it also taught me what no business school ever could: how to recover, rebuild, and help others do the same.

I know what it’s like to feel responsible for a business you can’t control anymore. To be overwhelmed, out of time, and unsure of your next step. That’s why I’ve spent the past few decades helping small business owners avoid the mistakes I made—and recover from the ones they couldn’t avoid.

Since that collapse, I’ve consulted and trained over 50,000 small business owners in multiple countries. My focus has always been on:

I wrote CrashProof Your Business as both a book and course to help business owners identify risk early, make smart decisions, and stay in control of their business journey.

What I Believe

I believe that most business owners are capable, hardworking, and smart. But nobody gives them the map. Most advice is generic, outdated, or designed for big companies with deep pockets. That’s not who I serve.

I work with the people who are trying to make something real—on their own terms—without wasting money or time on strategies that don’t work for them.
