Training & audience

Small-business education built from real owner problems

My training has always started with the same question: what does the owner need to be able to do differently when this session is over? The delivery has moved from seminar rooms to email, courses, webinars and online communities, but the practical bias has stayed the same.

50,000+owners have taken part in my training and programmes over the years.
30+ yearsteaching small-business risk, marketing, selling and practical management.
~5,000contacts across current and recovered business-owner and course lists, with older records treated separately from fresh subscribers.

Subjects I have taught

Business stability
Personal guarantees, commitments, cash flow, closure risk and protecting the owner's private life.
Marketing & email
Direct marketing, reader lists, campaigns, newsletters, copywriting and turning attention into enquiries.
Online income
Packaging knowledge, courses, affiliate marketing, websites, funnels and practical digital offers.
Technology for non-technical owners
Systeme.io, AI and using the smallest workable stack rather than assembling unnecessary complexity.
Compliance
POPIA/privacy training and practical compliance designed for smaller firms rather than legal departments.
Selling & writing
Sales process, copy, offers and the plain-language communication owners use every day.

How I reach people now

Email remains the centre. Around it sit courses, websites, LinkedIn articles, video, webinars and direct client work. That matters for affiliate partnerships because a product can be introduced in several useful contexts: a comparison article, a lesson, an email, a resource page or a practical demonstration.

Audience fit for affiliate programmes

My audience is not primarily made up of professional marketers or software experts. It is people who run, or want to run, a small operation themselves. They need help deciding what to buy, what not to buy and how to use the thing after they buy it. That makes products with a clear small-business use case particularly suitable.
